What we see when you visit
We count things — like how many people viewed the JOOLA Perseus page today, or how often someone filtered by "Control" paddles. Those counts help us figure out what's useful and what's confusing.
That's it. We see anonymous activity, never people. Two different visits from you look like two different strangers to us.
What we never collect
- Your name, email, phone, or any way to contact you
- Cookies — we don't set any
- Your location, browsing history, or anything from other sites
- Tracking pixels or third-party advertisers
When you copy a discount code
We earn a small commission if you use one of our partner codes at checkout. The brand pays us — you don't. We see that someone copied a code; we never see your purchase, your cart, or your name.
A code's spot on our site is decided by the paddle's score, not whether the brand pays us. We rank good paddles from non-partner brands as enthusiastically as anything else.
Comments
If you leave a comment on a paddle page, it's public. Pick any name (or stay "Anonymous Pickle Player"). We don't store an email or any way to trace it back to you. We do limit how many comments any one device can post per hour to prevent spam.
If you'd rather we count nothing
Easy:
- Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser settings — we'll stop counting your visit
- Use a privacy-focused browser or content blocker — they handle it automatically
- Browse with JavaScript disabled — the counting script can't run
Outbound links
When you click through to a brand or reviewer site, you're on their turf — their privacy practices apply, not ours.
Changes
If this ever changes, we'll update the page and flag it on the homepage for at least two weeks. We promise not to start collecting more without telling you first.
